NOT SURE WHERE TO START?

Start with a Conversation

Reaching out for counseling

can feel like a big step.

Our free introduction call gives you an opportunity

to briefly tell us what you’re looking for, as questions

and explore whether Counseling House is the right place for you.

Counseling Shaped Around You

Psychosocial counseling is not about fitting every person into the same method. Our practitioners work within their professional competence and may draw on therapeutic approaches such as CBT, ACT and Transactional Analysis, depending on their training and the needs of the client.

Where your needs fall outside our scope, we will discuss appropriate next steps or referral to another healthcare professional or specialist service.

Meet the People Behind the Care

At Counseling House, we believe that the relationship you build with your practitioner matters. Our co-founders, Stefan Campher and Joachim Kaarsgaren, share a commitment to creating a safe, personal and professional space where people can feel heard, understood and supported.

With different backgrounds, experience and ways of working, each brings their own perspective to psychosocial counseling.

HOW IT WORKS

Taking the first step can be simple.

Starting counseling can feel uncertain, especially if you are not sure what kind of support you need. We make the process as clear and personal as possible.

01. Start with a free introduction call or Book a Session
Tell us briefly what brings you to Counseling House, ask any questions you may have, and explore whether we may be the right fit for you.

02. Meet your practitioner
If Counseling House is an appropriate fit, we arrange an initial intake to understand your situation, what you would like support with, and what you hope to achieve.

03. Begin your counseling
Together with your practitioner, you agree on the focus of your counseling and the way forward, tailored to your needs and goals.
